Shipper Coordinator
Secure and manage freight customers on a day to day basis using McLeod software. Book acceptable number of loads to be picked up each day and coordinate with the freight companies and independent carriers. Lead a shipping team of 3 to 5 members and ensure the quality of service offered to both carriers and customers is the best it can be.
Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years experience in long haul logistics. Require at a minimum an Associates Degree. Will require extensive computer experience and knowledge of McLeod software will be a plus. Leadership ability will be a must in this position.
Company has a strict training program for their process but any candidate selected must have some prior experience in Logistics and Shipping of heavy freight.
